Terms of the EXPRESS service electronics

In return KEB is obligated to return the repaired frequency inverter or servo to you without delay but no later than within 5 working days, with the exception of the time between preparation of the cost estimate by KEB and your permission to repair. Should KEB fail to repair the unit within the guaranteed time of maximal 5 working days, then the surcharge of 20 % is not applicable, instead you receive a discount of 10 % on the standard repair price as compensation.

Pleae consider the following explanation for the calculation of the time period of 5 working days.

Prior to delivery it is checked, if KEB has kept the guaranteed 5 working days and according to that the surcharge is invoiced or the discount granted.

The period of 5 working days begins with the information to KEB, that you as customer have chosen the express service electronics. In case you have already stated on your delivery note, that you wish the express service electronics, the period starts with the arrival of the unit at the KEB Service.

Please also observe the following note: If you have chosen the express service electronics, then this decision is binding. The surcharge of 20 % also applies to units that have no defect, are returned unrepaired or are scrapped.

In case of capacity or material bottlenecks KEB reserves the right to decline express service electronics. In such cases you will be informed without delay that the corresponding repair is carried out as standard repair service.

 

Terms of Overnight Express Service Electronics

KEB undertakes to repair the frequency inverter or servo controller until the next working day. Precondition for the Overnight Express Service Electronics is the prior consultation by phone, the delivery of the unit until 10 o`clock in the morning as well as the repair permission given directly when placing the order. However, it is possible to set an upper limit for the repair costs.

For the Overnight Express Service Electronics we charge a surcharge of 40% on the standard repair price. Should KEB fail to repair the unit until the next working day, the repair is handled as a KEB Express Service Electronics with a surcharge of 20%. 

Please also observe the following note: If you have chosen the Overnight Express Service Electronics, then this decision is binding. The surcharge of 40% also applies to units that have no defect, are returned unrepaired or scrapped.  

In case of capacity or material bottlenecks KEB reserves the right to decline Overnight Express Service Electronics. In such cases we will inform you immediately, during the first consultation by phone, that the corresponding repair is carried out as standard service.

 

Kindly note:

The Express Service as well as the Overnight Express Service are valid for frequency inverters out of the warranty period.

For frequency inverters in the warranty period you have to contact KEB to check the possibilities for rush repairs.
