SPS 2021: KEB Automation cancels participation on site

The digital format of the trade fair starts next week

KEB Automation, system provider in the field of drive and automation technology, will not be participating in SPS 2021 on site in Nuremberg. The decision was made because of the current Covid situation in Germany. However, KEB will be represented in the digital format “SPS on air“.

“By not participating on site, we are fulfilling our responsibility towards our employees and guests at the trade fair,“ says Norbert Schwabbauer, Vice President Sales and Marketing at KEB. Protecting health has the highest priority for KEB. The measure is intended to help counteract the current pandemic development.

“The cancellation of the physical participation in the SPS is a regrettable but correct decision“, says Schwabbauer. “We had looked forward to the personal exchange on site. It is even more important that our presence in the digital format of the SPS remains and that we can welcome our guests there.“

In addition to topics such as high-end drive technology, motors as well as brakes and clutches, KEB will be presenting the forward-looking topic of IIoT and the practical solution KEB NOA. In the lecture “IIoT for mechanical engineering – create innovative digital services with your data“, KEB will provide insights into the KEB NOA demo system during the SPS and the first customers will report on their experiences.
