Application Drive – COMBIVERT F6
Powerful and compact
Applicable for different motor technologies and functionally prepared for the drive tasks of speed, torque and position control - these are the COMBIVERT F6 drive controllers for powers from 2.2 kW to 450 kW. They support the implementation of new machine concepts with extended requirements for performance, communication and integrated safety.
With this drive generation, the operation of different motor types, real-time communication with a higher-level controller or the cooling concept in the control cabinet can be individually adapted to the requirements of the machine manufacturer.
All-in-one
The concept is all-in-one - which means that in addition to universal motor operating modes for sensor-actuated or sensor-less motors, the drive controllers enable flexible connection to the higher-level control level via EtherCAT, Profinet, Powerlink, Ethernet/IP and CAN and provide all proven speed and position feedback on the two encoder channels in one hardware.
The modular configurable safety functions according to IEC and ISO standards with motion-based, safe monitoring directly in the drive complete the machine concept. The protective measures previously implemented externally in the machine or plant are increasingly being integrated into the drive and control electronics package, thus optimizing effort and system costs.
The commissioning and diagnostic software COMBIVIS 6 makes application and handling convenient. In the current version, necessary adaptations to the application are supported by wizards, which make it possible to optimize the drive system to the requirements without a great deal of detailed knowledge.
High energy efficiency combined with excellent wave properties are the key to powerful drive solutions in typical applications such as hoists, portals, cranes, palletisers, infeed/outfeed devices or extrusion and injection moulding.

The drive controllers COMBIVERT F6 can be easily and conveniently operated via the "COMBIVIS mobile" app. The app from KEB enables wireless communication via a smartphone or tablet. In addition to the connection via WLAN, networking via Bluetooth is also possible. A corresponding Bluetooth adapter from KEB is available.
