Spring Applied Clutches - Hybrid
KEB spring-pressure clutches are characterized by particularly high torque and operating safety. Electromagnetically actuated spring pressure clutches use spring force to stop frictional joint connection, which is cancelled out by electromagnetic force in the opposite direction.
KEB spring pressure clutches are used in cases where particularly high torque is to be transferred safely, .e.g. in conventional hybrid drives, where the assemblies have to be adapted exactly to meet specific customer applications.
